How to use Ombres & Lumières Blush

As Blush:

  1. Apply blush to the apple of your cheeks. Unsure where that is ?
  2. Smile big and blend your colour right onto the high point of your cheek.
  3. Blend outwards and upwards for a softer look.

For Eyeshadow:

  1. Prime your eyes with concealer.
  2. Grab an eyeshadow brush and gently dab it into the blush product and tap off any excess.
  3. Apply as you would a regular eyeshadow blending across your lid and upwards.

Should I only use the powder textures for my makeup or can I mix with the cream textures ?

For your makeup to appear perfectly blended, we recommend sticking to one texture. If you use a blush powder over a cream bronzer for example, the layers will mix together in a way that might not appear natural. Often, we recommend powder based makeup for people that look for a more matte look, while cream is best for a dewy, glowy look. However, you feel like the mix of dewy and matte then feel free to mix the textures!

Do you have any tip for applying blush ?

One of our favourite way of applying blush is not just on the cheeks. We love applying a soft touch on the bridge of the nose. This will create a totally natural, sun-kissed complexion for all skin tones. Once again, a little goes a long way so start with a small amount.
